Robert and Sheelah met eleven years ago and for the first few years they partied, drank and went to clubs. Soon after that Sheela became pregnant and they got "married" in a ceremony but not legally. They tried to live right but soon began the same old behavior. Sheelah became pregnant again and they decided to make a change. They started going to Victory World Outreach and loved it, they accepted Christ and now live for God. They became legally married in the church they use to party at, since our building was once a club. They currently serve in the church doing a Tuesday night Firestarter bible study for married couples. They had one more child and are so glad that they found V.W.O and Jesus. Their marriage is better and Blessed. They love the church family and Pastor Blake and Karla Andrews for showing them the way, Glory to God.

Marianne Bridges addiction started when she was 15, right after she had her first baby. She started out with weed, pills and alcohol. When she turned 21 she had a still born baby and a daughter. When she was 22 she married a drug dealer and was introduced to meth. Her and her husband had a baby, then her husband went to prison and at that time her drug habbit got worse and so was the the depression. Her last 2 years of her addiction she was shooting up dope, prostitution and she was away from her kids. As of March 1st, 2011 she has been clean and sober for 4 years. She has had her kids back for 3 years and her husband, Brian was just released from prison and is attending church with her. Since she has been coming to VWO nothing but good has come to her life. Marianne says that VWO taught her who God, Jesus and the Holy Sprit is. She has learned to have Faith and to believe.

Gloria Herron use to run by Shaw-Tae out of South East Denton or Smurf out of Rosenberg, TX. Her life was pretty much a disaster before it even began. She started drinking and drugging at the age of 13. During her childhood her mother worked 3 jobs and her father was an alcoholic (He also recieved Jesus before his passing). She has 5 brothers, so growing up being the only girl was pretty rough. With her mom working and everyone else doing their own thing she was forced to raise herself. Being a young 13 year old female on drugs and alcohol in the streets was not easy. She pretty much did it all. The addictions forced her to do many many regretful things.  She was with many different men mostly older than her, one was very abusive to her, physically and mentally. She was in and out of jail, never had a real home or purpose in life but continued to get high and stay drunk. She was bound to this life style for 22 years despite all the drinking and drugging God's mercy fell on her. During those years she was still Blessed with 2 beautiful and healthy daughters Myriah and Erika. Thank You Jesus. On Jan 5th, 2010 God put his hand on her and said Enough... She drank herself into I.C.U. the doctors told her family to make arrangements for her burial because she was not going to make it through alive. This is where prayer and Faith came to existence in her life. She had a faithful mother, man in her life (Richard), family and VWO praying for her. By the Grace of God she is here today. Now she is celebrating 1 year of sobriety and living for and serving our Lord Jesus Christ. During this year of sobriety the Lord has restored her relationships with her daughters who now live with her and she married Richard, a God fearing man who has patiently stood by her for the last 3 years. By allowing herself to surrender to God, His Grace and Mercy has healed her and taught her through the Holy Spirit to push on, not dwell on the past and go forward through His Son Jesus Christ. Now it's her duty as a child of God to reach out to others, using her testimony to show that she serves a true and living God. Jesus Still Saves, Heals and Delivers.
